Measurement Form

This form is for the member of your wedding party that lives outside of Winnipeg. We strongly suggest that a Professional Tailor or Tuxedo Specialist take the following measurements. If this is not possible, follow the directions below closely. Please complete all information and submit this form no later than 10 weeks prior to the wedding.

Chest Size:

Lift arms outward. Place measuring tape around the broadest part of the chest. Lower arms (relax). Make sure tape is snug but can move freely with one finger between the body and the tape.

Waist Size:

Place measuring tape around the waist at the level of the navel. Make sure the tape is snug but can move freely. Make sure it is comfortable.

Outseam:

Place the start of the tape at the side of the waist, at the level of the navel. Stretch the tape down the side of the leg until you reach the top of the heel of the shoe.

Overchest:

With arms at side, place the tape around the broadest part of the chest and the shoulders. This measurement is critical for a proper coat fit.

Neck:

Place the tape around the neck at the level the collar would be buttoned. Place one finger between the neck and the tape and make sure the tape is snug but moves freely.

Sleeve:

Looking straight ahead and keeping arm at side, place the start of the tape at the base of the neck (at the center of the spine). Move the tape over the top of the shoulder, and down the arm, just to the wrist bone.

Overseam:

With arms at side, place the start of the tape at the top of the shoulder and measure down on the outside of your arm to the middle of your wrist bone and thumb bone.
