Choosing your formal wear should not be taken lightly. The bride spends a great deal of time choosing her dress, the bridesmaid's dresses, shoes and accessories. The formal wear should compliment the bridesmaid's attire.
When it comes time to choose your formal wear, it is important to know what colour the dresses are and what theme your wedding is having. That way we can provide you with the best information needed for you and your groomsmen to look their best on one of the most important days in your life. Some grooms don't know where to start, while some know exactly what they are looking for. Traditionally, the groom's attire is determined by the size and formality of the wedding. Also, a very important factor is the style of the bride's gown. We find that by asking the following question it helps put things in perspective for you and us to attain an idea of what you're looking for: What kind of look are you looking for? Traditional, Modern, Victorian, Western, AvantGarde, etc. Another key factor in making sure you look your best, is your body type. Not every size and shape, suit just any style/cut of jacket. If you're a little on the intimidated side about wearing a "Stuffy Monkey Suit", you can relax, tuxedos have come a long way in the past 10 years. Essentially, tuxedos are suits that are finished with silk or satin and made from the finest fabrics. They're even fitted the same way as a suit. |
